Finding Focus In A Busy World…

As some of you know, I started taking yoga classes again last April and promptly fell in love with it all over again. What I love about yoga, is that it forces you to slow down, focus and breathe, and really get in touch with your body and how you feel.

Sometimes I’m feeling “Hey I aced that last pose, go me!” and sometimes I’m feeling “Honestly, how much longer is this class?”, but I always come away feeling more centered and ready to crush the rest of the day.

I thought I’d share this fun Yoga Quickie from Practical Yoga with you guys of Whirling Tree Pose, a fun, restorative, and centering posture that can help build strength in your legs and enhance your ability to stay centered and focused in a busy, distracting world. Click on the pic to try it!

Practical Yoga for Everybody is a pretty cool site with some great recipes and tips on meditation, wellness, and ways to beat the stress monster…Enjoy the weekend and remember to take some time for you!

P.S. If you’re looking to start yoga classes, check out my fave Corepower Yoga. They have locations all over the country, hopefully near you!

Hey Gal! I really like your blog! It looks like you have to have at least some coordination to do that stuff! I've done that pose before, but I didn't know it was Yoga, (I feel on my rear). Not very coordinated at all! I do plan on checking out those Yoga sites though, maybe I could start out by hanging on to a chair for dear life! LOL!Love & Prayers, PJ
